To promote the Science of Geophysics and related Geoscience fields and to promote fellowship and cooperation among those persons interested in geophysical methods particularly in Malaysia and nearby areas.

Society Profile

MSEG is a non-profit organization whose members have the interest of the science of geophysics. Members gain benefits through activities that focus on bringing the advancement of the theoretical and application geophysics.

MSEG is widely related to oil and gas industry, where the application of geophysics principle is the most. University is also an important community.

MSEG is associated with International SEG based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

MSEG 1999/2000 is headed by Mr. Mahadi Isa.
